 Fashion is a highly visual industry, which explains why Instagram is the social network of choice for lovers of style. But there is far more fashion content online than what people share on social media. It has always been a strong niche for blogging.

Emily Schuman is a former Conde Nast staffer (including a stint at Teen Vogue), who in 2008 combined her love of fashion, and food to launch her website "Cupcakes and Cashmere." Today, Emily has published a best-selling book inspired by her blog, and is the entrepreneur behind a clothing line that's sold at major retailers, including Nordstrom and Bloomingdales, as well as her own e-commerce lifestyle site. On Cupcakes and Cashmere, Emily shares her evolving fashion style through outfit posts, which tend toward casually chic everyday looks, many involving denim, black trousers, or sheath dresses.

4. Hello Fashion

Utah-based Christine Andrew is the blogger behind "Hello Fashion" and the founder of clothing line ILY Couture. She originally launched her blog to promote her clothing line, but it soon evolved into an online diary of her super-stylish IRL wardrobe. Today, Christine shares her creativity and love of fashion through her popular outfit posts, which include plenty of  tips that her fans love. Christine's sense of style blends feminine and sporty pieces, so you'll often see her grounding a more feminine, dressy look with sneakers or ankle boots.
5. Brooklyn Blonde


Born and raised New Yorker and Brooklynite Helena Glazer Hodne is a graduate of New York's famous FIT fashion school. She launched her personal fashion blog "Brooklyn Blonde" in 2010, and today has nearly half a million Instagram followers. Her site typically shares a day in Helena's life, focusing on her passion for fashion, but also including interior design, beauty products, and being a mom to a cute son.  She has become known for her authenticity, and forms a strong bond with her followers through daily interactions and chats.
